:: UPSEE 2014 / UPTUSEE 2014 : First time Biometric Thumb Impression System ::

UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination) is the entrance examination which is held every year for degree level engineering institutions and other professional colleges affiliated to UPTU (Uttar Pradesh Technical University). There are almost 830 Government and Private colleges affiliated to UPTU (previously MTU and GBTU) , providing courses in Technical , Management , Pharma and other branches of study.


UPSEE 2014 will be headed by UPTU this time rather than GBTU, Lucknow. After the merger of MTU and GBTU, this is the first time when UPTU, Lucknow is organizing UPSEE.
The university has introduced BIOMETRIC THUMB IMPRESSION SYSTEM from this year in UPSEE 2014/ UPTUSEE 2014. The admission forms for UPSEE-2014 for the admission into 750 Engineering and Management colleges of UPTU will be available from the first week of February.
The Biometric Thumb Impression System has been introduced firsr time ever in UPSEE because of the difficulties being faced previous year.

The counselling will be conducted till 15th July for increasing admission to the colleges affiliated to UPTU.

Biometric system has also been introduced so that the fake candidates are not allowed to give the entrance exams.
