:: UPSEE 2014: 19000 SEATS FOR GIRLS, NEEDS TO WORK HARD ::
UPSEE 2014 SEAT INFO, UPTU GIRLS SEAT QUOTA, UPSEE 2014 NOTIFICATION
Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU), Lucknow is going to conduct State Entrance Examination known as UPSEE for admission to Govt.-aided institutions and Private Unaided institutions affiliated to UPTU, and some other state universities of Uttar Pradesh for the session 2014-2015.
In UPSEE-2014 , for girls almost 19000 seats will be reserved. By this, almost 9500 General Quota Girls will be getting reservation of seats. This reservation is going to help the girls appearing in UPSEE and will remove obstacles from their path of getting admission in good colleges of UPTU.
The GIRLS QUOTA ranking will be above than the Combined Ranking of UPSEE and thus the girls have to work hard for the examination going to held on 20th April,2014.
There are almost 1.5 lakhs seats for B.TECH IN UPTU in about 300 Engineering colleges. Out of these seats, 65% will be filled through UPSEE2014 COUNSELLING. Out of these, there is a reservation of 20% seats for girls for admission in colleges of UPTU.
The applications for UPSEE 2014 will be accepted till 5th April, 2014. There is more than 35% participation of girls in total students appearing for UPSEE every year. According to SEE, for admission in CSE, IT, EC,ME,CIVIL,EN branches in GOVERNMENT COLLEGES OF UPTU, the girl student will have to get the ranking(COMBINED GENERAL) under 5000. In TOP 5 PRIVATE COLLEGES OF UPTU , the girl student will have to obtain General Rank under 20000.
