:: UPSEE 2014: FREE ENGINEERING FOR GOOD RANK HOLDERS IN UPTU ::

UPSEE 2014 is at its peak in terms of registration process. There are more than 25000 registrations in just two days. UPTU has decided to give scholarship to the meritorious aspirants of UPSEE by which they will study Engineering almost free of cost. ALso, in UPSEE 2013 there were many students who got a chance to pursue free engineering study.
The aspirants of Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination(UPSEE) will get a chance to pursue engineering in more than 7500 seats of almost 300 engineering colleges of UPTU free of cost.
The students whose parents are having an income of less than or equal to 6 lakhs per annum will get this chance. The students will have to do some more hardwork since only the top rank holders are going to get this chance. The previous year in UPSEE 2013, the students who were having less than 4000 ranking in Government colleges of UPTU got this chance of free seat.
According to the rule, out of total number of seats in every Engineering college, 5% seats are reserved for free Engineering seats in UPTU. By UPSEE2014, 210 seats in Government colleges and around 7300 seats in Private Colleges of UPTU are reserved for free Engineering seats.
According to this scheme, in the topmost colleges of UPTU such as IET and HBTI, the students with overall UPTU ranking less than 1500 will only be eligible for these seats. For TOP 100 PRIVATE COLLEGES OF UPTU , the students will have to get less than 20000 rank for admission in CS, IT, EC,EN, ME branches of the university.
With the eligibility of Free Seat, the students will be getting full concession of TUITION FEE. But, Examination fee, University fee, Library fee, Computer Fee, Internet Fee, Sports Fee etc will have to be paid by the student.
