:: UPTU INVITES TRAINERS FROM AMERICA FOR SELF-DEFENCE OF GIRL STUDENTS ::
UPTU ( Uttar Pradesh Technical University) has invited trainers from America for the self-defence of girl students. It is an another initiative which is taken by the officials of UPTU to attract more students and to emphasize the students currently pursuing courses in Uttar Pradesh Technical University. The Vice Chancellor of UPTU has reported that the university is planning for the self-defence of girl students of the university. With the increasing rate of crimes it has become important for a girl to protect herself, especially when she is studying away from her home.
The university has invited trainers to train the girl students of 750 colleges of the university. The trainers have been called from America. The university is spending money for the protection of students. A Nodal center will be opened in each district of the state where UPTU colleges are present. Also, the university is trying to open up a cubator in each college for the comfortability of students.
The training has been started in some of the colleges. In BSA college of Mathura, American trainer Marita Liyom took the class of students and taught them the methods of self-defence. The practical methods of teaching were implied to teach the girl students. The girls looked very happy after studying such methods.
