:: UPTU UPSEE 2015 entrance exam seems in for delay ::

Slated to begin from first week of February, admission process for state entrance examination (SEE) 2015 conducted by UP Technical University (UPTU) is all set to delay due to objections raised by the government over appointment of SEE coordinator, absence of admission policy and seat matrices are reportedly reasons pushing the admission process further.

Upset with the appointment of J P Saini as SEE coordinator, the government had on January 16 asked UPTU registrar to give status report on Saini's appointment as SEE coordinator, whose name figured in anomalies in granting affiliation to some colleges. The government government has this year decided to do away with the domicile system and open admissions for outside UP students. Even though UPTU has sent the recommendations, the new admission policy has yet to be framed. Third, the seat matrix in the colleges has yet to be finalised.

Even after repeated attempts for university's comment, registrar Pawan Singh Gangwar was unavailable for comment.
