:: UPSEE 2015 Exam on 18,19 April ::

Uttar Pradesh Technical University has announced the exam dates of Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE 2015), which is scheduled to be held on April 18 and April 19, 2015. Aspirants for undergraduate Engineering courses must attempt the UPSEE 2015, a state level examination, for admissions to Engineering institutes in the state.

As per UPSEE 2015 Important Dates, application form will be available to be filled up by the candidates tentatively in March, 2015. The UPSEE 2015 Result will be declared tentatively in the first week of June, 2015.

UPSEE 2015 Application Form Procedure:

UPTU will made available UPSEE 2015 Online Application Form soon to be filled up by the UG Engineering candidates soon. UPSEE 2015 Application Fees is as below:
  • General & OBC Candidates:Rs. 800
  • SC/ST Candidates/ Girl candidates:Rs. 400
According to UPSEE 2015 Eligibility Criteria, B.Tech aspirants must have following academic qualifications:
  • Candidates must have passed Intermediate from UP Board or 10+2 examination from a recognized Board or University.
  • They must have secured a minimum aggregate of 45% (40% for SC/ST) in the concerned subjects in the qualifying exam.
  • Candidates must have studied Physics, Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/ Bio-Technology / Biology / Technical Vocational as an optional subject.
  • They must have passed the qualifying exam without any grace marks.

UPSEE 2015 Selection Procedure says selections are made on the basis of the UPSEE 2015 scores and rank obtained in the UPTU 2015 entrance exam.
Private Universities can fill 20% of their seats through JEE Main ranks, of which 10% will be allocated to UP domiciled students and the remaining 10% to students from outside states with All India Merit.

UPSEE 2015 Paper Pattern is as under:
  • UPSEE 2015 Question Paper will contain total of 150 questions of 600 marks.
  • Questions will be from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics; with same weight-age to all sections.
  • Bio.Tech Engineering aspirants can opt to write Paper 2 too.
  • Every question will carry 4 marks; no negative marking.
  • Only one answer is to be given by the candidates for each question.
In 2014, UPSEE was held on April 20, 2014. About 1.83 lakh candidates appeared for this engineering entrance exam conducted in offline mode at different centres across 24 cities in Uttar Pradesh. About 1.46 lakh engineering seats including around 4000 government college seats were available at different technical institutes across Uttar Pradesh in 2014.
