:: UPTU will now have Online College Affiliation to increase tranparency ::
UPTU UPSEE 2015-16 session will removing all college with fake affiliation. In order of this UPTU state government will start online affiliation process through a software system to new college or increase in number of seats and update this affiliation on university website uptu.ac.in. In UPTU session 2013-14 many college ( around 44 ) will get affiliation without approval of the state government, So there is stake on 20,000 student who study in these colleges.
When these college were come into light then UP state government raised objections for granting affiliation to these colleges. In this fake affiliation procee, previous UPTU registrar US Tomer had surfaced. According to TOI, he take bribe of 15 crore from these college to help them in providing university affiliation.
AFFILIATION PROCESS FOR NEW COLLEGE OR INCREASE IN NUMBER OF SEATS
1) College first has to take approval from the All-India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).
2) UPTU or university will affiliate it by affiliation committee consisting of V-C, registrar and two other officials.
3) Affiliate from State Government by principal secretary, technical education, university registrar and other officials.
UNIVERSITY ACT SAYS: The Executive Council may, with the previous sanction of the Chancellor, admit any college which fulfills such conditions of affiliation, as may be prescribed to the privileges of affiliation or enlarge the privileges of any college already affiliated or withdraw or curtail any such privilege.
Beside this, UPTU PLACEMENTS will now see the increase in graph of the students placed in the university. The university Uttar Pradesh Technical university has taken the initiative to improve the placement of the students of the university. The university has taken the initiative first time to increase the number of students which are being placed in every session in the university. This will not only help the students to et placement but also help the university in getting a good status.
The placement stats of the university and the colleges associated with the university was very good 5-6 years back. In the recent days the university has seen a large downfall in the students being placed and in the students taking admission in the colleges. The root cause of this is the decrease in the placements among the colleges of UPTU. The students spend lakhs of rupees and it is really a feeling of depression when the students don't get placement during the university campus. The initiative will help the students and also the university.
The placements are the must need for all and the students study to get themselves placed. The university will soon organize and introduce new things to improve PLACEMENTS IN UTTAR PRADESH TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY.
