:: UPTU B.Tech 2nd Semester Question Paper Leaked on 30th May ::

Uttar Pradesh Technical University UPTU B.Tech 2nd Semester Physics examination paper leaking news got arised on Friday. But University has refused for such news.

While some engineering colleges and students claimed that  UPTU’s (Uttar Pradesh Technical University) physics paper held on Friday was leaked and went viral on whatsapp, the university administration dismissed their claim and said it was just propaganda to malign the image of the university.

A total of 70,000 first year examinees appeared in the examination. University vice chancellor Omkar Singh told HT, “Someone called me at 12:45 pm informing that the physics paper held in morning was leaked. The exam got over at 12 noon. If the paper was leaked then, it should have been brought to our notice before the start of the exam,” he said.

Meanwhile, the semester examination of the UPTU has turned out to be a bad joke for students. The university emails question papers to affiliated engineering colleges, which take a printout, get them photocopied minutes before the start of exam and then distribute them among examinees.

It is possible that the paper was leaked because of this process, an examinee said. Even in the past there have been issues with students as the university emails the question paper to students.

Only recently several examinees complained that quality of papers distributed at their centres was terrible. “The question paper was quite black due to the carbon of the photocopy machine. It was just not readable,” complained a student of an engineering college.

He further said, “The printout of the mathematics paper was horrible. One could not even make out the decimal points in the numericals. These colleges charge such hefty fees, yet they give out a photocopy of the question paper instead of getting them printed. This is shocking.”

The university officials, however, refused to speak much on the question paper leak.
