Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (Former UPTU) recently released an official circular for the promotion of Fail students. FAIL status students have to submit their Roll Number, Number obtained in Carry Over subject on the online form released by AKTU. With this process, fail students may get promoted in next semester or year. You can see the image above for the full details. These details are required to submit online at official website of AKTU. The link is provided below :


Students having fail status need to submit this form by 9th September 2016. The students also have to submit its hard copy to their respective college. AKTU is taking the information from fail status students as university had promised to provide 50% credits as per CBSC rule (Choice Based Credit System). The decision made by the academic council in 2016 that students may get 50% credit in place of 60% to promote in next semester.

According to AKTU official facebook page, the university is updating the result with new 40 grace marks rule and CBCS rule effective from 2016-17 and will take some time to update the result.
