:: AKTU will only have UPSEE 2017 {No All India Entrance Exam} ::

According to leading newspaper Times Of India, the proposal of All India Entrance Exam has been rejected by the state government. Earlier CAB (Central Admission Board of AKTU) send this proposal to Uttar Pradesh government for admissions in various courses run by 619 colleges affiliated to it for the academic session 2017-18.

The government made it clear that like previous years, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University will conduct UPSEE 2017 for admissions engineering, management, architecture and pharmacy courses run by affiliated colleges. There are approximately 1.16 lakh seats in various AKTU/UPTU affiliated colleges.

Following NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) for medical admissions, AKTU had asked the permission of same for engineering admissions through All India Engineering Entrance Examination 2017.
